Making the perfect Frost Ball takes a little bit of practice, so don't expect perfection on your first try.
Follow the directions below for the best results.
TIPS TO MAKE THE PERFECT FROST BALLZ
- Wash each mold with warm water and soap before you start.
- Distilled and double boiled water makes the clearest ice.
- Fill the bottom tray with approx 200ml of liquid.
-Put the top lid on and make sure the grooves are aligned properly. This will force the liquid into each of the 4 ball molds.
Note: You DO NOT need to fill thru the tiny overflow holes on the top, it will make no difference.
** PRO TIP: Use a rubberband or place a weighted object on top of the tray to create a better seal. A tighter seal will create a rounder ice ball**
- Let the Frost Ballz freeze for 4-5 hours.
- After removing the tray, let it rest at room temperature for about 5 minutes to soften the ice.
- Remove the ice balls by flipping the tray over. The 'feet' should be at the top. Gently press down on the feet and loosen each ball before separating the cover. You may notice a thin layer of ice connecting the Frost Ballz. To remove this, simply run cold water over it to melt it.
